May 14th, 2011 — 4:19pm

Hey, Primo here,

If you're looking for some valuable information about Tibetan rites, than I'm glad you found these page and I strongly suggest you keep reading

Because this is my uncensored story how I got in touch with 5 Tibetan rites and how I found an appropriate exercise for me. The ups, the downs, stuff that didn't work and finally the one thing that did help me achieve my personal goal of doing regular exercises that would keep me fit and bring me long term results.

Before I started to perform five Tibetan rites, I was lacking some extra exercises that would keep me fit and bring me better results, especially in squash, my main area of interest. I have many obligations, that come from work and my family, and I didn't have the time to do something on a daily basis. I always thought that I have to start doing something, but nothing seemed to work.

I tried with several exercises, but they all failed me. I tried running, but I couldn't do it regularly. I tried with some exercises for muscles, but they didn't bring results. I play squash and tennis once a week, but it isn't enough to keep me fit. On the other hand I don't have the time to go to gym or do anything else, which is time-consuming…

Then my friend told me about Tibetan rites he was performing, and showed me how to do them. I started doing five Tibetan and soon noticed results: better physical condition, vitality, better health (I didn't even expect that). Therefore I wanted to learn more about these rites, also called five Tibetans, and I came upon a certain book that gave me new energy to insist and to do them correctly.

So, what do I honestly think about the book:
The positive things that I noticed, are:
–very good presentation of exercises, including photos
–clear and nicely written
–it reads like a novel, not a health or exercise guide
–it actually works! I especially like these one.
–creating positive mind patterns
–the older you are, the better the results. Ain't that great?
–this is annotation of much famous book The Eye of Revelation by Peter Kelder

What I didn't like or had trouble to comprehend:
–maby these is only my problem, but I still have some problems food combining section. Although I never thought myself of being too attached to my food I can see now that I’m not ready to give up the habits I have … nothing can exceed a good sandwich for me…
–I had problems to capture that in Tibetan yoga you actually gain without strain and that one should never strain himself when doing The Five Rites. I’m not pushy, but I had problems that I have to start with 3 repetitions and then proceed … I thought it would take me ages to actually get to results – luckily it isn't the case

And, that's it, basically. I'm still doing Tibetan rites, day by day noticing better results and just wondering, how these simple exercises can have such a positive effect on my life. That is also the reason why I created this page.

It is advisable to practice Five Tibetan in the morning, when we won’t be disturbed by phone calls and daily rhythm. We perform them before breakfast, we only drink a glass of not too cold watter. If we don’t perform Tibetan Rites in the morning, it is advisable that we don’t eat heavy food for at least four hours before practise.

We perform exercises without force or strain. We breathe deep and in a steady pace. It is advisable to practise them by an open window. The most important is to perform five rites Tibetan on a daily basis. The number of repetition is not as important as the fact that we do it regularly. We have to listen to our body and do not strain our self too much.

In the first week we only make three repetition and then add two additional repetition per week. If we get sick we can do the exercises in our mind – in this way we will stay linked with them and will continue with practice immediately when we get better. Tibetan yoga (five Tibetans) is not recommendable when we fall ill or with heart diseases. If you have any doubts about your health you should consult your doctor.

The goal is to make 21 repetition of Tibetan rites, but you don’t have to feel pushed to do all 21 in a short period of time. Persistence is more important than the number of repetition, remember? You can practice 7 repetition and still feel the benefits. It is not advisable to make more than 21 repetition, through.
